You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account in the app. This permanently and irreversibly deletes your account, all vehicles, maintenance records, messages, and associated data. This action cannot be undone.

We do not currently send marketing emails. If we do in the future, every email will include an unsubscribe link.

My Car Companion is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as the Google Play Store or mechanic review platforms). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Your device token is stored securely and deleted from our servers when you sign out or delete your account. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, you are entering into a payment relationship directly with Stripe. My Car Companion does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing information.
We receive from Stripe: your subscription status, plan type, and renewal dates. This information is used solely to manage your subscription access within the app.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Manage Subscription in the app, which opens the Stripe customer portal.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you a notification via the app or email.
